The Sensex and Nifty fluctuated between gains and losses, but Indian indices closed the day in the black. The indices made a strong start to the session before giving up all of their gains as a result of Tata Steel, Vedanta, Oil India, and other equities. However, the indices made a good comeback in the lunchtime trade, driven by Hindustan Unilever, HDFC, and HDFC Bank. After most Asian markets declined on Monday, European averages rose, while the price of bitcoin remained close to $20,000. Oil prices dropped down early on Monday while U.S. futures rose.
